Chamber Earns Spot in Wichita Business Journal’s Book of Lists
Last week, the Wichita Business Journal featured local chambers of commerce on their Book of Lists, and Rose Hill earned a spot in the publication. The listing highlighted each chamber’s member count, member benefits, president, and website. What really helped Rose Hill stand out, though, weren’t our numbers. Instead, our chamber offers its members something completely unique – a completely free, fully personal webpage.
In addition to the traditional chamber benefits of increased publicity and mixers, Rose Hill members are given their own piece of cyberspace to showcase their business. Often these profiles are the first result to appear on an internet search, and thus provide an excellent first impression for potential customers. The chamber understands that in a technology-centered world, having a solid web presence is paramount when reaching out to the community.
Members have full control over their webpages, and they can update or customize the profile at any time. The sites can feature pictures, mottos, services, products, team members, help wanted ads, and more. Local restaurants use their profiles to post menus, and small businesses keep customers in the loop with the blog feature. Best of all, this powerful tool is easy to use, and a helpful guide comes included online.
It’s thanks to the support of local businesses that our chamber has gained recognition. The Rose Hill Chamber is proud to stand apart from the rest with the innovative features we provide our members.
