Fireworks Stand Fundraiser and Benefit
Believe it or not, it is time for the annual Fireworks Stand Fundraiser and Benefit. This year the Rose Hill Historical Society once again purchased, priced, and displayed fireworks for sale to the community. Fellow Rose Hill non-profit groups will help man the stand and share in the profits. In addition, the society provides a scholarship to a deserving senior from the proceeds.
The hours of operation are 12 to 10 p.m. from Monday, June 27 through Sunday, July 3. They switch to 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on Monday, July 4. Fireworks will also be on sale Tuesday, July 5 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Discharge may begin Monday, June 27 through Monday, July 4 during the fireworks sale hours.
The Rose Hill Historical Society would also like to thank the volunteers who took on the new challenging task of computerizing the inventory and setting up the scanner for sales. This will help them know when they are running low on items, what needs to be reduced in price, what daily specials to run, and to scan the items for checkout.
Anyone interested in joining the society is to stop by the fireworks stand this week. Be sure to check out their new lower prices, raffles, daily specials and the display about the new building for the museum. Find out how you can become part of their future displays, such as being listed on the wall of contributors or purchase a brick with your name that will be forever a part of the museum.
