Chamber Mixer at Rose Hill Bank a Success
Another successful Chamber Mixer took place on Thursday, April 21st at the Rose Hill Rose Room. Rose Hill Bank hosted the mixer and provided guests with a table full of food and drinks to choose from. Approximately thirty guests attended and enjoyed food, drink and conversation with local business owners. Garth Kellenbarger with Rose Hill Bank, took the floor to welcome and thank all who had attended. Garth spoke briefly about the history of the bank and shared that the bank had recently acquired three new locations in Salina.
Gina Mortimer, Fountainview Care Transition Coordinator & Community Relations who coordinates the Chamber Mixers, shared that she would like to see the Chamber gaining one to two new members at every mixer that takes place. She explained that the $5 donation to attend the mixer was put into a drawing and handed the basket of names to Garth to draw the winning name. The name was Rod Young with Professional Engineering who was not in attendance, which meant that the prize money would continue to grow and be included in next month’s drawing. Gina said that she would be sending Rod a “loser letter” and warned everyone that if they did not want to receive a loser letter next month that they should attend the Chamber Mixer on Tuesday, May 17th hosted by Mosaic at their location in Winfield.
